The GRE, or Graduate Record Examination, is a standardized that is organized each year at various locations across the globe, & online, and which is a principal requirement for admission to the graduate schools in the US. Many graduate schools located in other countries also accept GRE scores for admission to their courses and this makes GRE the world’s largest examination for graduate courses. The exam is administered by ETS (Educational Testing Service) which created the exam in 1949. Today GRE is offered online & conventionally on paper as well. The primary language of the paper is English and it tests the abstract thinking skills in the areas of mathematics, vocabulary & analytical writing.
The test can be taken at any time but not more than once in a month and 5 times in a year.
